On December 10, 2024, Russia attacked the center of Zaporizhzhia, hitting a private clinic with an Iskander-M missile while doctors and patients were in the building.
The medical facility was covered in rubble, and rescuers were able to extract the last survivors from the ruins only seven hours later. The shelling killed 11 people, including four medical workers.
